Loes Vink attended The Royal Academy of Art, The Hague, Holland, where she got her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
She is active in painting, sculpture and photography.
In her work she begins in the here and now. An image, photo, feeling, thought, idea, memory, happening or dream catches her attention and through the formal means of color, form, composition and contrast, she expresses what it means to her. In the process this becomes clear but remains implicit, not put into words.
In her work one can feel what is happening but it is not explicit and keeps one searching as there are several possibilities. There is movement and repetition, reaching out and holding back, emotions and indifference.
The personal becomes universal.
